Thank you, How we startedThe genesis for MedicalNomad comes from personal experience. One of our founders was working as a Family Practice Physician Assistant and had to deal with some dental issues. Although he had good medical insurance and a dental office attached to his clinic, he had absolutely no dental coverage. He had a treatment plan worked up and was faced with the prospect of almost $15,000 in dental charges. Having lived and traveled overseas, he was aware that other options existed. He scoured the internet looking for information about getting high quality, cost effective dental care. The site he was looking for would provide information about procedures, medical providers, costs and general information about traveling for health related care. He never did find that one comprehensive site, because it didn't exist! That has now changed: MedicalNomad is here for you! The MedicalNomad team has created this site to help you research choices in medical travel.
